John B. Gillen, M.D.

Dr. Gillen began his professional career in Cincinnati in 1967, starting in family practice for seven years and then transitioning to comprehensive ophthalmology after completing residency in 1977. Dr. Gillen is a founding member of Eye Care Associates of Greater Cincinnati and he sees patients in Madeira.  Dr. Gillen serves as Assistant Director of the University of Cincinnati’s Eye Clinic.  He also teaches ophthalmology residents at the University of Cincinnati.

  • Comprehensive periodic eye examinations for good eye health, early detection of potential vision problems and for up-to-date eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions
